These are tools that allow you to perform functions, or gather information, based on your location. Or tools that allow you to see location-based information related to an online community’s user generated content, such as image uploads, comments etc.
This could be location-based, or geolocated, push notifications. Or perhaps being able to view a map of the world which shows from where your fans are signing in from (if you’re a band or celebrity for example).
